Sweety Fernandes, lecturer, Manipal Nursing College, delivering a lecture on “My Body, My Right” to primary school children, said, “After crossing the early primary stage, children growing up in their formative years should be aware. If there are inappropriate physical gestures or advances made by family members or strangers towards boys and girls, parents or teachers must be informed immediately. Growing children must always be vigilant and understand the difference between good and bad touch because their body is a sacred temple.”

The headmistress, Sr Ancilla, emphasized, "Our body is a temple, and it is our primary responsibility to protect it."

The students enthusiastically participated in the session and asked many questions.
