Mangaluru: Scholarships distributed among meritorious students at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Jan 26: As many as 76 meritorious students were awarded scholarships here at St Agnes College on Tuesday January 26.

Speaking on the occasion, chief traffic warden Joe Gonsalves said, “After my retirement, I started serving people. Age is not the limit if you have attitude, talent and courage to face the people of Mangaluru. Do make use of your talent so that you can serve the nation and public.”

Joint secretary of the college Sr Lydia AC said, “I congratulate all the achievers. You have achieved because of your potential and efforts. Academic achievements are temporary. You all just need a purpose to take step forward. Always achieve all the aspects in your life other than academics.”

Meanwhile, chief traffic warden Joe Gonsalves was felicitated.

Principal of the college Dr Venessa AC welcomed the gathering, Sheryll Preethika rendered the vote of thanks and Jonita Rasquinha compered the event.
