Mangaluru: IEEE Srinivas University student branch holds informative technical talk

Mangaluru, Dec 2: The Srinivas University IEEE student branch on November 30 arranged a technical talk on 'Industry/Company Analysis- A Research Perspective'. Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University was the resource person.

“Creating new knowledge is a time-consuming process. Using existing knowledge, trying to identify new things after the analysis, and recommending a new solution to an existing problem is another way of research. Industry/Company Analysis plays an important role in research. It helps the researcher to study the existing knowledge and develop a new model and suggest an optimal solution to the problem,” he said. In the technical session, he addressed aspects such as case study as a technique of research methodology, different types of case study research, the procedure of industry/ company analysis, research case study publication as a scholarly publication, etc. The technical session was followed by a question-answer session where the resource person cleared the doubts of the participants.

Manasa, the coordinator for the membership committee of IEEE Srinivas University student branch welcomed the gathering, introduced the resource person and also proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Krishna Prasad K, counselor of IEEE SUSB guided the proceedings of the webinar.

The programme was attended by approximately 125 participants, including members of the Srinivas University student branch and research scholars of Srinivas University.
