New Delhi, Apr 29 (IANS): The auction of third generation (3G) telecom services in the country will be over in a couple of days and is being conducted in a completely transparent manner, parliament was informed Thursday.
"The auction of 3G spectrum will be over in a couple of days. It is being conducted in a completely transparent manner," Telecom Minister A. Raja said during question hour in the Rajya Sabha.
"I am clear that the procedure is transparent. It is open to all to question this but there is no question of lack of transparency," he added.
India Wednesday concluded 94 rounds of auction to award spectrum for 3G telecom services in the country.
The successful bidders would be allowed to offer 3G services on a commercial basis from Sep 1.
