Udupi: MLA Raghupathi Bhat visits physically challenged teen who makes masks amid COVID-19

Udupi, Jun 25: Sindhoori, a student of Class 5 of Mount Rosary school here lost the growth of her left hand since birth. However, the disability has not stopped her from preparing over 15 masks per day as part of the campaign against coronavirus. Her video of preparing masks has gone viral on social media. She also garnered appreciation from chief minister B S Yediyurappa for her work.

MLA K Raghupathi Bhat visited her in her residence at Thenkanidiyoor on June 25 and congratulated her. He also gave assurance of helping her with her education.

Thenkanidiyoor gram panchayat president Krishnayya Shetty, panchayat member Ravi Acharya, rural BJP chief secretary Vishu Kumar Kalyanpur, former vice president of Kalyanpur gram panchayat Appu Jathan, panchayat members Sathish, Nagaraj, Krishna, Naveen, activists and local people were present.
