Mangaluru: Coastal Karnataka records reduced rainfall

Mangaluru, Jun 25: On Wednesday June 24, the quantum of rainfall was less on Wednesday. Since the last few days, the monsoon has become weaker.

Mangaluru and Udupi cities experienced sunny weather. A few places received rainfall at night. The reduction in rainfall was reported from even Puttur, Bantwal, Moodbidri, Beltangady, Karkala and Byndoor.

Ankola and Karwar got five cm rainfall each, which was the highest in the state. As per the prediction till Friday morning, the meteorological department said that coastal Karnataka and many interior Karnataka regions and a few places in north interior Karnataka will experience rainfall.
