Kundapur: Accused in cattle theft attempt case arrested

Kundapur, Jun 22: Gangolli police on Sunday June 21, arrested the prime accused in cattle theft case from Kaup. The case pertains to June 10 where miscreants had attempted to steal a cow loitering on the road. The whole incident was recorded in CCTV camera installed at a bar in Peraje.

The accused, Mohammed Haneef, was arrested by police from Kaup.

Police on instruction from senior officials investigated the case on basis of the CCTV footage and successfully arrested the culprit. The police team included Gangolli police station PSI Bhimshankar Sinnoor Sanganna, Shreedhar, Chandrashekar, Prince, Santosh, and Shivanand.

The culprit was presented in the court.

    Owners of the cows should have arrangements in place for instant justice in case of cow thefts.Only then this evil can be eradicated.
