Mangaluru, Jun 12: In connection with a case of planting a bomb at the airport here during January, a charge sheet was filed in the JMFC court on Thursday, June 11.

The investigation process was concluded during April, and the charge sheet running into a hundred pages was sent for the state government's approval. The permission letter from the secretary in the department of the home has since been received, and a charge sheet was filed in the court, said assistant commissioner of police (city north subdivision), K U Belliappa.

Adithya Rao has been charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The investigation has revealed that the accused had planted the bomb at the airport with the objective of creating panic.
