Bengaluru, Jun 10: As the department of PU education agreed to meet the demands of the second PU answer sheet evaluators relating to providing bus service and medical facilities at the evaluation centre, the work of answer sheet evaluation is expected to pick up momentum.
A meeting chaired by chief secretary in the department of primary and secondary education, Umashankar, as held at his department where it was agreed to extend the above two facilities.
Evaluation work relating to arts section will be completed before June 16. The officials confirmed that no notices will be served, nor any disciplinary action would be initiated against principals and lecturers who did not attend to evaluation work of answer sheets so far.
For the lecturers who will voluntarily take part in the answer sheets evaluation work in respect of science subjects, facilities will be provided by way of stay, transportation and medical facilities. The offiice of the deputy director of the district will make suitable transport arrangements for the lecturers in science subjects from 12 districts located around the city.
Based on the assurances, Principals Association and Lecturers Association have decided to participate in evaluation of science subject answer sheets in the interests of the future of the students.
