IMHO, now these guys came to know that such a long forced internal lockdown, in a densely populated country like ours, was a sham!
The infection is supposedly spreading uncontrolled!
But, a very huge irreparable damage on the socioeconomic front has already happened!!
Now the effects of migrants in the hinterland spreading the virus will have to be watched
Post CORONA socioeconomic effects will be much more painful and prolonged than expected!!

All people were tested are people who came from outside. If we test more local people there may be even more positive cases. Hence i feek we must alliw people yo work now and just protect vulnerable people like elderly. India dhsll defeat coronam lets wash hands and msintsin spcial distancing. We shall awuire herd immunity soon

Prior indication of first lock down for people to decide either to return to their native or stay back was the key. After all family is the priority and to take care off their family and improve their living, they work outside their native.

Also once lock down was announced strictly they should have controlled barring very very essential matters.

Nation stands first here and whatever has happened is gone, let us be careful and follow certain precautionary measures so that we could limit the spread as responsible citizens.

Genius Yeddyurappa is in a hurry to open up temples, mosques and churches and even malls in Karnataka despite seeing a massive spike in cases. Altleast Thackeray is bot budging from his stand of not opening up till they have situation under control. With such a genius CM at the helm, Karnataka can possibly lose control over the CoVid situation.

What some may have failed to notice is that people returning from telangana are also positive. But telangana barely has 2k cases. Also, they have conducted about 30k tests. Something fishy.

first lock down was announced on the evening of 24 March 2020 without giving any prior notice to its citizen. all govt PR stunt like banging thali, bells, showering petals, lighting candles three days prior notice was given.

why govt not announced at least 15 days early that on 24 march 2020 is going to be lock down till one month and asked citizen to move respective villages from cities.

when lock down was announced on 24 march 2020, only 400 corona cases were there in india. had anyone come with corona to respective villages during travel they woud hav cured during lock down after 24th march. one month simply wasted from 24 march 2020.

because of directionless, clueless, incompetent, unaccountable govt we all indians have to suffer now.

Purely based on statistics Udupi is doing a better job of testing and isolation than DK, because the number of returnees is much more in DK. Kudos to DC Jagadeesh and teem.

Surprise to see all are getting Covid 19 positive those who returned from Maharashtra either from Mumbai or Pune. If our people are majority positive then what will be the status those cities? And so many labors are migrated back to their village/city all over the India.

Why are you comparing DK and Udupi ? Are you competing in some race ? We are all Indians here.

If you want to compete, do it in the field of economy - against the US and China.

Here is the role of one officer in MUDA mangalore. While processing the request application to travel back home to mangalore, he processed only those applications which had a permanent address here and the adhar card was the proof. So those who failed to get their application approved moved to the nearest location udupi. So when udupi had around 7000 visitors , mangalore was having around 1500 visitors( the numbers I may not sure)
