Bengaluru, May 27: The swarms of locusts which have destroyed crops in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, are heading for Maharashtra. There is strong possibility of the locusts then entering Karnataka and inflicting huge losses on the farmers here.

The locusts numbering lacs have now attacked Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. Experts in agriculture have warned about the danger of the swarms attacking Karnataka districts located nearer to Maharashtra. The locusts’ entry into Karnataka can be stalled only if the Maharashtra government handles the locusts menace effectively.

Locusts numbering several lacs have already destroyed standing crops in many villages. They entered Maharashtra via Amaravathi in Andhra Pradesh. Even though chemicals were sprayed in these areas to control them, they were not affective.

Punjab and Haryana which are nearer to Pakistan border also run the risk of coming under locust attack.

This nothing but an 'Torment' from the God to the ruling party that caused millions of migrant laborers dearly,
First it is pandemic of 'COVID-19' that shut maximum of SME and MSME into billions of losses. Now the swarms of locust going to affect the agriculture sector.
If government don't act now the great 'femine' is much awaited.

Exodus Chapter 10 verses 12 to 15 states, “(12) And the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over Egypt so that locusts swarm over the land and devour everything growing in the fields, everything left by the hail. (13) So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the Lord made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. They Originated from Horn of Africa in Mid 2019 getting in to Yemen, Middle east, Iran, Pakistan and now entering India. Locusts are common sights in Africa. Especially in Developing Countries..

Pity you guys link this to religion and selling it here. This is majorily due to the change in climatic pattern across the African and Arabian regions which created favorable conditions for locusts to mass reproduce and rising temperatures due to global warming made the Indian Ocean warm resulting these locusts to migrate rapidly. The govts failed to take precautionary steps and failed the farmers like always. Strict vigilance and spraying of pesticides is a fundamental step to control the locusts. If you care buy a farmer organophosphate and equipments to spray across his field rather sitting at your home couhging up nonsense in SM. Amen

If one says I love them (locusts) as God is love one is surrendering them to God they will go somewhere else as per God's plan or grace or one need to or collectively need to pray God to drive them away.

Otherwise how many kgs of organophosphate and how many number spray equipments needed? How many Manhours needed! Probably countless right if they go from state to state?

If one sees this in the biblical perspective or in spiritual eyes,

In olden Egypt, they used to worship 10 things, some of those are,
Water - God turned water into blood red,
Cattle and Live stock - All died beacuse of God sent pestilences
Crops - Locusts ate all their crops,
Sun - there was 3 days of Darkness,
Finally they were made to worship their King - Everyone's firstborn son died including King's firstborn son.

Then the Pharaoh the Egyptian King had to release Israelites under the guidance of Moses from their slavery to promised land who were under Egyptian bondage because of their previous disobedience to their God.

Seems God is angry, wants everyone to depend on him and not to depend on self, things of the world, otherwise there will be plagues and pestilence also scarcity of water, food and light is coming ? That's what God is trying to say with this pestilence and locust plague?

Both Good and bad die but depends upon their karma means depends upon good works, charity and repentance of their bad action one would get heaven or hell.

If God has taken them definitely they would be enjoying heaven, much better than earth, as following scripture suggests

Mr.Rajesh....As we believe we are all children of God...in what context one can be punished. We are all creator's creation. Some are born poor... Some are born semi-poor, some are born rich. Some are born physically disabled.
When baby born it grow according to the environment. When all doors closed..a person who stole things to feed his family members rather than die from hunger...how he will be wrong. God never made everybody alike...given all things equal. For survival people adopt one or other way which feels easy and of there capability. Heard before baby born destiny written. Middle Class Americans Q up in Food Banks as unemployment reach to 38 million. India is doing good in this context. All are having Jawar Roti and Pyaaj at home to survive..for that reason migrant workers move to there respective homes. In Middle East especially in Saudi Arabia once rich now increased VAT from 5% to 15%. Due to stop of transportation scarcity of items within country. While government is planning to ease restrictions on restaurants, the owners should implement new ideas to attract customers. God is showing opportunities in this difficult times.
Restaurants should add 'seasonal' locust deep fries, locust manchurian, locust sukka and locust ghee roast in their menus!!

There are instances being recorded in the Bible God sending plagues to set his people free from slavery under Egyptian ruler Pharaoh.

Take the example of the doctors, if there is gangrene in the leg to save the life of that person they will amputate the leg, does it mean the doctors are cruel? No definitely not , they are in fact merciful and kind and therefore they amputate the gangrened leg and save the person from greater pain and misery.
Take the example of a mother making the child to drink bitter medicine, shall we say she is being cruel, definitely not, by doing this so called cruel act she is helping the child to enjoy greater and better health. Similarly it is with God for a greater good he at times chooses certain painful means that's all.
