Mangaluru, May 23: On the basis of instructions received from the ministry of civil aviation at the centre to begin flight operations, flights will initially begin from the international airport here to Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai from May 25.
Three SpiceJet fights will take off to Bengaluru and Mumbai destinations while three IndiGo flights will fly to Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru. Six aircrafts will undertake 12 flights every day. Air India, it is learnt, is yet to finalise its flight schedules.

As per current information, SpiceJet flight will leave Bengaluru at 8.30 am and 7 pm on May 25. IndiGo flight also will leave Bengaluru at 5.55 pm. SpiceJet flights to Bengaluru will be at 10.20 am and 9.35 pm. IndiGo flight leaves at 7.30 pm from Mangaluru.
The SpiceJet flight from Mumbai will leave at 7.05 am while IndiGo will leave at 9.30 am for Mangaluru. From here, SpiceJet flight will leave for Mumbai at 9.05 am while IndiGo will take off to Mumbai at 11.40 am.
Sources also said that IndiGo flights from Chennai will leave at 5.45 pm from Chennai. The flight till from Mangaluru at 8.05 pm.
Dubai flight
In the meantime, a flight carrying 166 passengers will arrive in Bengaluru today from Dubai. The flight leaves Dubai at 4.30 pm and arrives at Bengaluru at 9.50 pm. Initially, there was information about some passengers from the coast arriving here. But as per current information with the district administration, the flight along with crew will arrive here after all the passengers disembark at Bengaluru.
