Mangaluru: 29-year-old Mumbai returnee tests corona-positive on May 22

Mangaluru, May 22: One person tested positive for coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada (DK) on Friday May 22.

The person is a 29-year-old woman from Beltangady. She had returned from Dombivli in Mumbai on May 18.

She was under quarantine and now shifted to Wenlock COVID hospital for treatment.

With this, the total number of cases in Dakshina Kannada has risen to 62 out of which 40 are currently active. As many as 17 persons have recovered and been discharged, and five deaths have occurred.

    Please bring back all people of karnataka struck in various states as well as in overseas. Make arrangements in available space for quarantine. After all they are our people. Family members who keep them in KOTTE..should be fined with warning. Corona ab humhara saathi hai. Sukh toh aathi jaathi hai.

    This should had done before implementing lockdown.
    If they had given migrants 1 week time to move before lockdown, may be cases would had been reduced by now.
    Definitely there would had been more cases in initial days of lockdown but gradually it would have reduced by now,

    Purposely made to look like a COVID hospital. If it is neatly painted it will give out a wrong signal to the public. Therefore its made to look like that.
