No, we are going back to 'tea-party' of olden days. A packet with snacks and a glass of cold drink was offered. Remember ?

    We are heading for that.

Ha ha. Do they expect people to marry without parents/grandparents. Almost everyone's parents or grandparents will be greater than 65, unless they marry very young.

Get your marriage solemnized in the presence of religious leaders having required witnesses. Keep all the pomp and celebrations, including inviting and dining with thousands, for a later date, when Corona might have been subdued.
Live happily an exemplary married life which is more than all the drama and paraphernalia.
The present divorce rate is not healthy for family life and society.

What about funeral? 15 persons to attend the funeral. Why such restrictions? Increase to 25 or so. If a person dies the family members like brothers and sisters and kith and kin have to attend the funeral ceremony. Cant the Govt. realise the importance of funeral.?

We at The WhiteHall, Bengaluru welcome these guidelines . Performing the wedding at homes will cause a lot of risk and hassel even for 50 ppl gathering.
The venues should come forward and offer concessional rates for 50 ppl as regular rates will not be viable to people.

During lockdown, most of the hospitals use the temperature scanner before allowing any visitors to the patients in the hospital. Govt is saying the same thing to do before allowing anybody inside the marriage hall. These scanners are very small and can be purchased at around Rs 4000. In cities, one can get these scanners on a rent.

Caterers, florists, textiled/gold dealers, beauticians, resorts/lodge/hotels will look for best location to end their life very soon. I am sure our FM's package has no relation with these businesses.

You mean to say to put all other people's life at risk. Government provided temporary provision to those who are in hurry to get married..utilise available time in right manner during lock down. Nobody aware when and how liquor shop is going to shut. Better to keep other type of nasha beside to boost one's immunity system.
