Mangaluru, May 14: “The Cabinet has given its approval for an integrated transport hub project at Pumpwell,” said MP and BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Thursday, May 14.
He said, “As people are facing traffic problems due to increasing density of vehicles in Mangaluru, people were demanding a separate bus stand for the last several years. The Cabinet has approved the project.
“The bus stand will come up on a 7.23-acre land identified by the Mangaluru City Corporation. The work will be conducted at a cost of nearly Rs 445 crores under Smart City project in PPP model, the MP said.
“The project covering 10,00,000 square feet, will have shopping malls and multi-level car parking. I thank chief minister B S Yediyurappa for giving a go-ahead for this project,” said the MP.
