Bengaluru: Sale of liquor - Decision of CM Yediyurappa is final, minister Ashok

Bengaluru, May 2: Revenue minister, R Ashok clarified that the matter of opening liquor outlets in the state will be decided by CM B S Yediyurappa. He also said that Yediyurappa will take suitable decision in this regard.

Speaking to reporters in the city, Ashok said, "In today's cabinet meeting the chief minister did not discuss anything about the sale of liquor. He will take a decision on this on May 4."

R Ashok also confirmed that CM Yediyurappa will take a call on the regions where liquor outlets will be allowed to open and also the precautions that need to be taken during the selling of the same.
