Kuwait Nov 7: Buntara Sangha Kuwait under the president ship of Ajekala Karunakar Shetty  organized ‘Karnataka Maithri family picnic 2009 on Friday 6th October 2009 from 10:30am onwards at Jabriya Public Garden.  The event was featured with many games, sports and cultural activities and was open for all Kannadigas.



























With the temperature going down and pleasant weather after a hot summer, it was a day for the participants of the picnic to take the pleasure in the various sporting activities. The program was well arranged with fluent and professional announcements and control from the volunteers of Buntara Sangha.

The day was fully entertaining and sportive with many games for all the age categories and enjoyed well by every one. Games like Treasure Hunt, Book Balance, Marking the Tail, Bowling, Musical Chair, Sack Race, Ulta Sulta, Walk & Drink, Bucket Filling, Cricket, Bucket Game, Pot Breaking, Throw Ball, Volley Ball, Kabadi were arranged for kids, ladies and gents.   Housie Housie was conducted for all the gathered which is one of the Mangalorean tradition for most of the parties and family gathering.  This was an opportunity to meet and greet bunts, non-bunts friends and people of Karnataka through this sports and games of our Tulunad.  A delicious cuisine served for lunch.
