Puttur, Feb 17: A first PU student of a private educational institution here had visited a juice centre in the city in the company of two young men studying in the same institution, but belonging to a community that was different from her own. They were summoned to the police station.
After the locals conveyed information to them, the town police took the three students away to the police station and issued them warning. The students had visited the juice centre located near Aruna theatre. As the trio spent unusually long time at the juice centre and continued to chat among themselves, some locals who noticed them, had alerted the police.

The police then went to the juice centre and took the three students away to the police station. Later, they asked the parents of the students to come to the police station. The students were allowed to go after getting bonds executed, it is learnt.
