Udupi, Feb 16: On Saturday, February MLA Raghupati Bhat and concerned revenue department, officials jointly surveyed the land on survey number 344 and 345 of Kodavoor village, in which residents who are having illegal buildings and residing in the same since 1991, to make them legal.
Udupi tahsildar Pradeep Kurdekar, CRZ official Shreeprasanna, city development authority official Jeetesh, officials of the fisheries department, horticulture department, zonal forest officer, revenue officers, village accountant, PWD officials, local municipal councillor Hedlina Karkada, eminent personalities like Manjunath Kola, Nagesh Salian and other leaders accompanied the MLA.
"Survey work of 143 illegal residents, who are residing on the said survey numbers before 1991, is already over and the concerned officials are instructed to submit their report. Once all the departmental reports and NOC letters are received, 143 houses of Kola and Padukere under the survey numbers will be legalized," said Raghupati Bhat.
