Mysuru: Father-son duo knocked down by speeding KSRTC bus

Mysuru, Dec 9: In a tragic accident that occurred on Kotehundi circle of the taluk, father and son, who are riding a scooter were killed on the spot when a KSRTC bus, whose driver lost the control and collided with the scooter.

Prakash (50) and his son Suresh (23), residents of Kattehunasoor of Heggadadevanakote taluk are the unfortunate people who lost their lives in this accident. They were residing at Mahadevupura of J P Nagar.

Both father and son were going by scooter towards Kattehunasoor in order to give their thumb impression for biometric record in order to get rice from the PDS shop. But they died on the way due to the collision with the bus.

Mysuru rural police reached the spot as soon as they got the news of the accident. Both the dead bodies are sent for post mortem. A case in this regard is registered in the police station. Further investigation is on.
