Udupi, Nov 28: Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday, November 27, in the city, reacting on the recent developments in the political scenario of Maharashtra, senior seer of Pejawar Math, Sri Vishweshatheertha Swamiji said, "If no party gets clear majority, all political parties have to make a common plan and form government. The present alliance, not only from the point of view of power but also with regards to morality is unholy one. What is the relation between Congress and Shivsena?
The Hindutva professed by Shiv Sena is more hard core than BJP. Now they have got into alliance with Congress and NCP. BJP also made alliance with NCP. It really saddens me. Now there may be elections again in Maharashtra. On the whole, morality is totally getting extinct in the politics of our country. Maharashtra politics is similar to the situation of Karnataka now.
"If no one gets clear majority, re-election should be held. If not, all political parties have to form government together. There was no need for BJP to grab power overnight.
"If BJP does not get enough seats in the Karnataka by-elections, re-elections should be held. JD (S) can show some courtesy and support BJP."
Replying to the query on Muslim Personal Law Board approaching court with respect to Ram Mandir verdict, Swamiji said, "It is doubtful that the court will accept their appeal. Already five judge bench has given final verdict on the issue. I feel that Supreme Court will not accept the appeal of Muslim Personal Law Board again."
