Udupi, Oct 25: Nirmala English Medium School, Brahmavar focuses on holistic development of the pupil. The school identifies the talents of young buds and nurtures them with maximum care. The fruit of their hard labor is rewarded with state and national level honors.

On October 19 and 20, a Mangalore Institute of Karate and Martial Arts Budokan fourth state level Open Karate Championship 2019 was represented by BKSA Vaman Palan along with NEMS students. It was a great opportunity for the students to participate in this great occasion. The students were victorious and brought glory to the school, to Udupi district their parents and the school. Vaman Palan was appreciated for his selfless service, dedication and commitment in training the students.
Total participants were 20 and they secured first, second and third in kata and kumite.
I. The six who secured gold were:
Diganth: First in Kata
Sumanth: First in Kata, second in Kumite
Hanish: First in Kata, third in Kumite
Sharanya Raj: First in Kata, First in Kumite
Tanush: First in Kumite, second in Kata
Adithya: First in Kumite, third in Kata and secured
II. The four who secured silver were:
Sristi: Second in Kumite, third in Kata
Swaroop: Second in Kumite, third in Kata
Sagar: Second in Kata, second in Kumite
Preetham: Second in Kata
III. The seven who secured bronze were:
Suhas: Third in Kata, third in Kumite
Shishira: Third in Kata
Sharon: Third in Kata
Vivan: Third in Kata
Gagana: Third in Kata
Arman: Third in Kata, third in Kumite
Utteja: Third in Kata
All the students were very much appreciated for their performance and encouraged by all. All the participants are congratulated.
