Bengaluru, Sep 21: It is learnt that Belagavi (rural) Congress MLA, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, who was summoned to New Delhi by the enforcement directorate for questioning over her financial dealings with former Karnataka minister, D K Shivakumar, who is under arrest now, was questioned for long since 12 pm on Friday September 20 at the office of the enforcement directorate at Loknayak Bhavan, New Delhi.
Lakshmi, who has denied having any business links with Shivakumar, was questioned by the authorities on Thursday for about seven hours. They are learnt to have shown to her certain documents and posed questions based on them. She also was asked to bring certain documents.
It is said that the enforcement directorate officials have established some links relating to some transactions between the two.
