Udupi, Jul 14: Jamaat-E-Islami Hind secretary Ijaj Ahmed Aslam has criticized the way an organization has been conducting itself, relating to the recent disturbances in Mysore. "Jamaat-E-Islami Hind does not support such disruptive activities," he clarified.
Speaking at a press conference held here on Saturday July 11, Ijaj clarified that an organization in Mysore, has not been moving on the right path, relating to the recent incidents in Mysore. "Jamaat-E-Islami Hind neither supports fights with the other people, not are the ways of Taliban the real path of the religion," he declared.
Poverty in the country has worsened because of the irresponsible politicians. There is a need to urgently address issues like hunger, corruption, religion and moral values. The politicians are trying to use religion to split people. But a real religion respects the God, responsibility, ethics and humanitarian qualities," he said. He informed that his organization is involved with social service activities, besides introducing Islam to non-Muslims.
Humanitarian Relief Society, Karnataka-Goa chapter general secretary Akbar Ali and Jamaat-E-Islami Hind district secretary Anwar Ali Kaup were present at the press conference.
