Puttur, Jul 7: Steps will be taken to set up surveillance centre at sub-division level in the background of increase in cases of dengue fever, said BJP state president D V Sadananda Gowda.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday July 5 on his visit to Puttur, he said at present there is a delay in getting blood reports of the patients being treated in the government hospital causing hindrance to the timely and proper treatment to the patients. The setting up of surveillance centre at the sub-division level will help speedup as far as getting reports of the patients are concerned, he said.
Backward village, Kombaru has already been brought under Suvarna Grama project, while the project will soon be sanctioned to Siribagilu, he assured.
