Udupi: Daylong PHP programming workshop held at St Mary’s College Shirva

Udupi, Sep 4: A day long workshop on programming in PHP was held at St Mary’s College, Shirva in association with Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE), Moodbidri on Sep 4.

MITE college professor Jayadeva Prasad Moleyara who was the chief guest inaugurated the programme. He said that youth should indulge in software programming which is changing quickly and obtain more knowledge on it. “Everyday they should look for tools that will increase their creativity.”

“PHP which strengthens about 70% websites has become service side language that is used widely on priority. Lac of websites that work on PHP are the proof for its popularity,” said resource person, MITE college professor Jayashree Hegde.



College principal, Professor Rajan V N spoke on the context and conveyed his best wishes. Computer Science department head, Professor Lieutenant K Pravin Kumar introduced the chief guest and resource person.

Computer Science department students, teaching and non teaching staff were present. Vishwalatha Prabhu said a prayer. Professor Sushma rendered the vote of thanks. Professor Prakash compered the programme.
