Udupi, Aug 20: “Let us all extend our helping hands to refugees of flood-affected area of our state,” said, Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji of Paryaya Palimaru math on Monday, August 19 at Rajangana here.
Swamiji was speaking on the second day of the cultural programme pertaining to Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.
Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji further said, “Let natural disaster, farmers’ problems, soldiers’ problems may get resolved soon. Not only Kashmir but also POK will be ours. Lord will not see the difference in devotees in terms of gender, caste and age. The personality of Lord Sri Krishna is appreciated by elders and senior.”
Junior Sri of Palimaru Math Sri Vidyarajeshwaratheertha Sripada in his blessings address said, “When a man has patience, devotion and tolerance, God lies within him. There are problems but ‘Sri Krishnaya Namah’ shlokha brings solution and it will clear all problems.”
Vasudeva Asarnna, temple priest of Kateel temple, Gurme Suresh Shetty, Sripathi Bhat and Gujjala Seenu were present.
Vinay Hegde, chancellor of Nitte University, Hindustani singer Ustad Fiaz Khan, Krishnarao Kodancha of the municipal council, B V Laxminarayana, retired general manager of Town Co-operative Bank, Pradeep Kumar, Attorney-at-Law and Sripathi Bhat of Moodbidre were felicitated on the occasion.
Followed by the stage function, a Hindustani classic music concert by Ustad Fiaz Khan and team was presented before the audience.
