Mangaluru: Anagha from city bags silver medal in National Speed Ice Skating Championship

Mangaluru, Aug 19: Anagha from the city made the Karnataka state proud by winning a silver medal in the National Speed Ice Skating Championship - 2019 that was organized by Ice Skating Association of India at Gurugram in Delhi.

Anagha bagged the silver medal in the 500 meter Ice Rink Skate section. The championship was held on August 8 and 9.

Anagha is the daughter of Dr Rajesh Hukkeri and Dr Anita Rajesh couple. She is studying in fourth standard in Lourdes Central School of Bejai.

Anagha is the member of Mangaluru High flyers skating club and is being trained by Mohan Das K and Jayaraj. She is also getting trained by National Ice Skating trainer Avadhoot Thavade.
