Mangaluru, Jun 11: Prominent cardiologist Dr Mohan Pai inaugurated the EDU-PATH-2019-20, an extensive career guidance lecture series for the II PUC students of Expert Pre-University College, Kodialbail.

EDU-PATH focuses on imparting detailed and current information on the extensive options in higher education. This lecture series aims at guiding the students to make correct decisions while choosing their career.

In his address, Dr Mohan Pai motivated the students to take up medicine as a profession and pointed out that our country is in dire need of good doctors. He backed his statement by citing many anecdotes and also provided factual data on the current medical scenario of the country. At the end, there was an interactive session in which students were illuminated with answers pertaining to the medical field by the resource person.

Ankush N Nayak, director of Information Technology, Prof Ramachandra Bhat, principal-Expert PU College and Karunakar Balkur, coaching coordinator were present on the occasion. Prerana G Bhat of II PUC compered the programme.
