Udupi, Mar 25: A farewell programme was organized by the students and teachers of 8th and 9th std in the school hall for students of Class 10.
The function began with the recitation of the school prayer by 9th std girls. Welcome dance was performed by 9th std girls. Outgoing 10th std students were welcomed by lighting the candle. Fr Victor Fernandes and headmaster Fr Joslie D’Silva were given a lamp of luminous candle to each student as a token of love towards children. Guests and dignitaries were welcomed to the dais.
The correspondent of the school Fr Victor Fernandes, headmaster and senior teacher Irene Pereira were present on the stage. Navil of class 9 welcomed the gathering. Guests, dignitaries and representatives of 10th std were requested to light the lamp.
The correspondent while addressing the gathering said, “We expect from all the students to get good marks as well as excellent results in the forth coming board exam and bring laurels to the school and parents”. The headmaster wished the students by his heart touching song which impressed the students and also he placed his expectation of getting good results from the students. Sheethal and Joshwa of 10th std who studied in this school for 12 years shared their feelings about the school to express their gratitude. The present 10th std batch donated 45 chairs to the school. Various entertaining programmes like singing, dancing, skit etc were organized by 8th and 9th class students. It was extremely spectacular view and entertained the audience to the fullest.
All the teachers wished them with valuable words to their forth coming examinations and future carrier. A photo session was held along with the students and all the teachers. At the end of the programme fun games were conducted for outgoing students and the headmaster distributed prizes for the winners. Shravya U Pai of 9th class conducted the programme. Neha Sara, SPL of the school rendered the vote of thanks.
