Bengaluru, Jan 5: The state high court, on Friday January 4, granted bail to five persons, who have been named as accused in the sensational Hasanabba murder case. Hasanabba was murdered in Perdoor village, Udupi district, on the allegation of illegal cattle trafficking.
The case had given rise to protests and angry responses all over the state.

At the same time, the high court denied bail to first accused, Suresh Mendon, who had also applied for bail. The single judge bench presided over by Justice K S Mudgal passed this order.
The court also sanctioned anticipatory bail to Kushal Naik, an accused, who has remained elusive so far.
