Mangaluru: 14 Expert students qualify for KVPY 2018

Mangaluru, Dec 22: 14 students of Expert PU College, here qualified for the final round of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Examination to be held this year.

Adithi Kamath Mangaluru, Umm Kulthum Mangaluru, Vickson Stevin D’Souza Mangaluru from Expert PU College Kodialbail and R Chinmay, Bellary, Joseph John, Shivamogga, Govardhan S Tumkur, Bhuvan V B Bengaluru, Ankith Vishal Pandit, Yellapur, Ashay Jain C A, Chamarajanagar, Yash Bannur, Vijaypur, Sandeep S V, Bengaluru, Atharva N Pikle, Karwar, Aishwarya Bhat, Yellapur and Prameeth S from Kolar, from Expert PU College Valachil are the proud achievers.

The selected students can continue their education in the basic Science stream and they will be awarded with scholarship from Rs
80,000 to Rs 1,12,000 per annum. The selected students are also qualified to study in the prestigious educational institutes such as: Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, Indian Research Institute of Science Education and Research and many more. The KVPY exam includes a written test and interview.

The chairman of Expert Group of Institutions Prof, Narendra L Nayak, vice chairperson Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, principal of Kodialbail College, Prof Ramachandra Bhat and principal of Valachil College, Dr N K Vijayan congratulated all the students who have qualified in the examination.
