Mangaluru: Facebook page admin booked for mocking death of Ananth Kumar

Mangaluru, Nov 12: A case has been booked against the administrator of ‘Mangalore Muslims’ facebook page for mocking and celebrating the death of union minister Ananth Kumar.

The offensive post termed Ananth Kumar as ‘communal’ and added ‘don’t be born again to destroy the nation’.

In another post, the admin wrote a long explanation asking people not to mourn for Ananth Kumar’s death. Blaming Advani and Ananth Kumar for communal riots during Babri Masjid and death of several Muslims, the admin blamed them for religious extremism and sowing seeds of communal disharmony.


Controversial post

The content of the post incited hatred and aimed to create communal tension and has been severely criticized by people on social media.

A suo-motu case has been filed at Mangaluru South Police Station (Pandeshwar) under section /s 505(1) & (2). Action against ‘Mangalore Muslims’ Facebook page is also being initiated as per IT Act rules.

    It is not correct to mock any one in their death. Every one has their own life chapter and it has last page and ending. no body knows when is our last day even if we are very healthy and fit today. Moreover, politics is a game and they play as per their party agenda to prosper their perspective and also of their party.

    Sanghis have celebrated the death of Mahathma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Gauri Lankesh, Kalaburgi, pansare..the list is endless.

    They get offended only when others follow their footpaths. Anyway, I do not support condemning anyone after his or her death nor do I celebrate.

    Police should investigate and catch the real admin of "mangalore muslim" group. Whoever he may be, let him be arrested. I think this group is just in the air like "indian mujahideen", "love jihad" etc and some anti national foreces have created these imaginary groups only to blame certain community. Police should catch the real culprints and publish their names. They should be treated well by Police. Founder of all above false groups do not want peace in the society and they want to create trouble only to benefit certain political party.

    This is not the first time "Mangalore Muslims" FB page is upsetting rhythm of society...So many times complaint was issued against it..but no action taken before except one case where Mangalore Police Commissioner tried his best to catch culprit..Finally he was able to track root ..The accused is staying in Gulf Country and not in Mangaluru...

    Police Commissioner gave detailed report to Siddu Govt who did not take it seriously...Once officer was transferred , again same problem..He may be anyone..Indian, Pakistani, Muslim or Hindu...No one knows ..I think Govt has to handover this matter to IB ,they are the right people to deal with this case..

    These anti national thugs activities are increasing day by day. You can see their crimes in daily news paper. They get support from Pakistan based groups and they openly challenging our police.

    There are many good Muslims but some bad terrorist minded people spoil the name of the peaceful community. These anti nationals should be booked including admin and the member should be kept under observation before they disturb peaceful harmony in coastal region.

    Before pointing your finger at Karnataka, ask anyone in India if he/she has received the promised 15 lakhs, if the promised 2 crores jobs a year have been created, if the black money from overseas tax havens is retrieved, if Dawood has been brought to the book, if Temple at Ayodhya has been built, if the rupee has been strengthened to 35 a dollar etc etc.
