Mangaluru Basketball Club holds tournaments for students

Mangaluru, Sep 5: Mangaluru Basket Ball Club held basketball tournament for boys and girls at U Srinivas Mallya Indoor courts here from August 30 to September 2.

The following students were declared winners:

Primary school girls - N P S School Bangaluru, winners; Lourdes school Mangaluru, runners up; Cambridge school, Mangaluru, third place.

Primary school boys - N P S School, Benagaluru, winners; Cambridge school, Mangaluru, runners up; Mount Carmel school, Mangaluru, 3rd place.

High school girls - N P S School, Bengaluru, winners; Cambridge school, Mangaluru, runners up; Lourdes school, Mangaluru, 3rd place.

High school boys - N P S School, Bengaluru, winners; St Aloysius school, Mangaluru, runners up; Lourdes school, Mangaluru, 3rd place.

Inter college women - Dr N S A M first grade college, Nitte, winners; Alvas Moodbidri, runners up.

Inter college women - Dr N S A M first grade college, Nitte, winners; NMAMIT, Nitte runners up.

Acting vice chancellor of Mangaluru university, Dr Kishore Kumar C K who was the chief guest distributed the prizes. Naveen Shetty, president of Mangaluru basket ball club, Adithya Mahale, chief coach of Mangaluru basket ball club, A K Hussain, coach of Nitte and Shakthimani were present. Harsh proposed vote of thanks.
