Bantwal: Man who tried suicide rescued by local divers

Bantwal, Sep 3: A person who tried to commit suicide by jumping into River Netravati from Panemengalore bridge was rescued by local divers on Friday.

Lalxman Dasayya (58) from Arotu in Kakkyapadavu in the taluk was the person who was frustrated with his life. Laxman, who himself is suffering from health complications, was unable to meet the hospital bill of his sick wife. Having been distressed at his helplessness, he had jumped into the river from Netravati bridge in Panemangalore on Friday.

Residents of Goodinabali nearby who saw him jumping into the river, took a plunge, saved Laxman, and handed him over to the police at the town station here.

    Why one should jump into water when problem arise?They will not become less instead become more to their persons left behind.such coward action is not good.more stress to their family.Good he is being saved.Problem will but remain.
