Udupi: Ushaprabha Nayak felicitated by Shri Mahalasa Narayani GSB Ladies Committee

Media Release

Udupi, Sep 2: “One can develop a good personality through knowledge and spirituality as well as by hard work to achieve success,” said Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson of Expert Educational & Charitable Foundation.

She spoke as the chief guest in the silver jubilee celebration programme held at Shri Mahalasa Narayani GSB Ladies Committee, Shirva.

“According to the Puranas, wealth arises due to churning which means the pressure between demand by the customer and supply by the seller. But the present world has understood that the wealth is money”, she said.

“We have a wrong notion that by worshiping Goddess Lakshmi we can earn money. Instead, by sincerity and hard work we can prosper in our life, she added an example of a farmer who ploughs the field and uses fertilizers and hard work and its reward is wealth. Land is symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. Further she said that Goddess Lakshmi shines on the Lotus though the lotus blooms in sewage water. Those who work hard can see wealth in their life. To gain success in our lives, it is not necessary to know how & where we were born and brought up but only our hard work that matters. There are many opportunities that come across in our life. We need to understand the purpose and our limitations to lead a worthy life,” she said.

On the same occasion, Ushaprabha N Nayak was felicitated for her exemplary academic achievements.
