Banwal, Sep 1: A person named Krishna Acharya, resident of Gandody Parari in B Mooda village near here, filed a missing complaint about his daughter at the town police station here on Friday August 31. He said that his daughter, Mamata (26) had left for her husband's home at Chikkamagaluru but she did not reach there.

On August 26, Mamata had started her journey to Chikkamagaluru along with her six-year-old son from her parental home. On the same evening, an autorickshaw driver had dropped off her son back at Acharya's home, it is said. The boy told his grandparents that his mother got him seated in an autorickshaw, gave the address of the house to the auto driver and sent him away.

Krishna Acharya was accompanied by his son-in-law, when registering the complaint.
