My late father was an active Member of the Gentlemen's Sodality more than sixty years ago. Is this the same Gentlemen's Sodality we are talking about. It will be interesting to know.

My father was very proud of the Gentlemen's Sodality, and obediently each month there was an Eucharistic Service at Bishops House at Kodialbail that he attended each month without fail. My father had no car or even a bullock cart in those humble days, but he was gifted with some of the best classmates who were kind enough to come to our home with their own vehicles and my father was privileged with a free ride back and forth each month.

After the Eucharistic services, each month, the Gentlemen's Sodality were serving a good breakfast to the Sodality members. We still remember, even this day, that my father used to bring home part of the breakfast for his family. Little bread and butter with a banana were the favorite items that our bellowed father was kind enough to bring home for us to share. Those were the simple days of life filled with basket full of God's blessings that were part of our family memories that we richly cherish in our life today, and remain grateful to God for giving us a loving father who was mindful in bring his breakfast for us to share.

Each and every time I share the simple breakfast in America, with bread and butter and a banana, I remember my departed father who was so very consciencious to think of his family and bring whatever he could bring so that we all at home can share God's little blessings.
