Mangaluru: St Aloysius College MSW students to support Kerala, Sampaje relief work

Mangaluru, Aug 28: Two teams of MSW students of St Aloysius College (autonomous), here will leave to Kerala and Sampaje for relief work on August 29.

In Kerala, they will join NGO Goonj to extend support in psycho-social care for the victims.

In Sampaje, the team will join the local Panchayat in providing psycho-social care to the victims.

    Wonderful start for the MSW students to get actively involved with the Kerala flood disaster victims and extend their hand of help. They will get the benefit of a "first hand" experience of the disaster and human sufferings, and will enable them to determine what is ahead of them as a token of future challenge in life.

    The most important element that each and every young student has to take into consideration is that they have to take good care of themselves so as to get imuned to the conditions that prevail in the emergency zones with environmental hazards. "Charity always begins at home" is a slogan that a MSW student has to keep in mind and take good care of themselves from all possible consequences of the emergency operations.
