Bengaluru, Aug 28: Mohammed Nalapad, son of Shantinagar MLA, N A Haris, who is out on bail in a murder attempt case involving son of an entrepreneur, Vidwath, had sought permission from the high court (HC) to visit London to meet his brother there. The court's permission is necessary for foreign visit as one of the bail conditions is that he should not leave the country without the prior permission of the court.

The court has asked him to approach sessions court for permission. The single judge bench of the HC presided over by Justice John Michael D'Cunha, which considered the application seeking concession in bail condition, disposed of the application by asking the petitioner to approach the sessions court, which is hearing the case at present.

Nalapad had desired to visit abroad to meet his brother at London for 15 days from August 25 onward. As thee is delay in getting permission from the court, he will have to put his plans on hold.
