Byndoor, Aug 28: An Omni parked on Kanchikar road, Byndoor caught fire without warning.

It belonged to Kumta resident Sanjiva Mogeru.

The incident happened due to leakage of gas.



Local people tried to extinguish the fire but the vehicle was gutted.

The owner of the Omni hailing from Byndoor however escaped unhurt.
