Heavy rainfall in Mangaluru and Kodagu predicted by IMD

Mangaluru, Aug 27: Mangaluru and Kodagu may receive heavy rainfall on August 27, 28 and 29 as per the predictions of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD officials in a communication dispatched to deputy commissioners of Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts have warned that monsoon is active once again due to formation of depression over north-west of Bay of Bengal leading to rains in coastal Karnataka and Malnad region.
