Byndoor, Aug 26: In an incident which happened at Nirodi in Shirur village here on Saturday August 25 morning, a senior citizen who came under a speeding train got killed.

The man who died in this case was Thimma Poojary (80), a resident of Toodalli. Thimma who suffered severe injuries after a train hit him, died on the spot.

A case about the accident was registered in the local police station.
