Vijayapura, Aug 24: The wrongdoings of a sexual pervert hiding behind the bushes near Bhori Halla stream in the outskirts of Chadachana town in the district and clicking photos of women coming to an area filled with bushes for open defecation regularly to relieve themselves came to light on Thursday August 23.

The accused happens to be Saleem Bagwan (26) from Chadachana. He used to hide behind the thorny bushes near the area frequented by women for attending to nature's call and click semi nude photos of the women. He also used to contact these women later and pester them to have have illicit relationship with him, it is learnt.

On Thursday however, Saleem's luck ran out. A woman noticed that he was hiding behind the bushes and raised an alarm. Saleem escaped from the spot. The police later launched a manhunt for him. The women have demanded to take his cellphone into possession and delete photos and video clips which might be stored there.

Saleem used to run a hotel in front of Chadachana bus stand. The villagers who rushed to the hotel, locked it up. Several organizations have warned of indulging in agitation if Saleem is not brought to book immediately.
