Mangaluru: Bakrid celebrated at Bajal Nantoor Juma Masjid, Hayathul Islam Madrasa

Mangaluru, Aug 22: Eid and Ruthuba prayers were held at Badriya Juma Masjid and Hayatul Islam Madrasa Bajal, here on August 22.

Khateeb Ilyas Amjady said that Eid celebrations should consist of sharing the difficulties of others and compensating them for loss. “Let the natural disasters in Kerala and Kodagu and recollection of those who faced loss and agony there be a lesson to warn us. We should follow the orders of Allah so that we do not become targets of his anger. This is not the time for us to rejoice,” he said.



A silent prayer was offered for those who died in the floods. Prayers were held for families in inundated areas who incurred huge loss so that the Almighty may give courage and capacity to face challenges and the land may return to normal condition.

Badriya Juma Masjid and Hayatul Islam madrasa president, corporator Abdul Rauf who chaired the programme, delivered his message.

Former president Dr Haji D K Abdul Hameed, Haji B N Abbas, Ibrahim, B Bakruddin, Abdul Hameed Faizalnagar, Shamshuddin, Abdul Salam, Nazir Bajal, Haji Haneef H S, Ashraf Tota, Haji Hameed Musliar, Karim Pandel, Ashraf K E, Shafi Misbah, T F Abdulla, Hasanabba Monu, Abdul Rehman Madani, Hanif Baikampady, Sharif Musliar, Iqbal Ahsani, Abdul Hameed Hotel, Mohammed Hanif Kelaginamane, Mohammed Mullagadde and others were present.
