Mangalore, Aug 19: Many government schools are at the verge of closure due to pathetic condition or lack of students. It has become a major challenge to save government schools in many parts of the state. Recently in Kasargod, controversy loomed in after a Malayalam teacher was appointed in a Kannada medium school in Kasargod.
With a concept of saving government school, director Rishab Shetty has come up with his new Kannada movie 'Sarakaari Hiriya Prathamika Shaale Kasargod - Koduge Ramana Rai'.
The movie is all set to release on August 23. The makers say that the film is a complete entertainer with strong message to the public.
The film has a strong content starring Anant Nag, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Tuminad, child artist Ranjan, Sapta, Mahendra, Atish, Chirag, Sampath, Prakruthi and many others.
The trailer of the movie looks very enriching with Mangaluru Kannada dialogues in it that makes you smile. It shows a strong bond between children and the school, it will definitely take the audience back to their school days.
In the trailer, Anant Nag is seen delivering a strong message of 'A hospital will not be closed just because there is no patient in ICU. If our ministers do not attend parliament sessions they will not close down the parliament, which is why even if there is one student who desires to learn Kannada, it is the duty of the government to provide him education in Kannada’.
There has been protest in Kasargod regarding Kannada language and children in schools in Kasargod face various challenges. Keeping all this in mind, director Rishab Shetty has neatly scripted the movie and executed it. The movie is shot in Kasargod, Bantwal, Manjeshwara, Kumble, Bantwal and Mangaluru in a span of 68 days.
Prior to the trailer release, songs of the movie received good response that garnered over 1 million views. The songs have been beautifully composed by Vasuki Vaibhav.
