Mangaluru: Competitions held at Shakti Residential School for Krishna Janmashtami

Mangaluru, Aug 13: Shaktinagar based Shakti Residental School, college and Gopalakrishna temple here held several competitions for students at the school as part of Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.

Shakti Residential School founder and Gopalakrishna temple managing trustee, K C Naik said that Shakti educational institute is of international standard. “It aims to impart education that preserves and promotes Indian culture and is established on inspiration from Gopalakrishna deity. Sri Krishna can be seen in the joy of children taking part in the competitions and receiving prizes. Several such programmes will be held in the future. The residential school is developed in a manner conducive to children from Mangaluru and elsewhere in the state. May Sri Krishna strengthen every task performed for all round progress of the institute,” he said.



Poornima Rai, manager of the board of education lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. Moodushedde Government School headmaster Subraya Pai, management committee member Saguna C Naik, chief advisor Ramesh K, development officer Nasima Banu, pre primary school administrator Neema Saxena and others were present.

Gopalakrishna temple manager Krishna Kumar welcomed everyone. Shakti education trust manager Bykadi Janardhan Achar introduced the guests. Shakti College professor Prabhaker G S thanked everybody. Shashikala compered the programme.
