M'luru: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School celebrates St Ignatius Loyola feast in grandeur

Mangaluru, Jul 31: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School celebrated the feast of St Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus on a grand scale.

Special assemblies highlighting the values of St Ignatius Loyola through short videos were held for seven days.

On Tuesday July 31, there was a celebration of the holy eucharist followed by a spectacular cultural programme by the students of Std 7. The programme was graced by the chief guest N G Mohan.



The students had a variety of competitions and the winners were felicitated during the programme. The correspondent Fr Eric Mathias SJ, headmistress Philomena Lewis and vice president of PTA Rekha Fernandes were present for the programme.

Immanuel welcomed the gathering and Elvis Lobo thanked everyone responsible for the successful event. Rishal Fernandes spoke on the significance of the day, while Rishab Bekal and Sam Lobo compered the whole programme.

It was a great joy to see parents in large number witnessing the performance of their children. The entire programme concluded with sumptuous food for all the students.
