Udupi, July 25: Montessori children of Vakwadi Gurukula Public School here, recently observed sharing day in a symbolic way with the school administration, principal and teachers.
The specialty of the programme was that parents of the children as in previous years generously donated stationery.
Headmistress Vishala Shetty, assistant headmistress Arpita and children handed over the stationery to the chief executive of Spoorthidhaama Dr Keshav Koteshwar.
Dr Keshav who received the items, congratulated the children and the school. “This service by you for the last six consecutive years is praiseworthy. It is essential to grow among such young children selfless feelings and exemplary values in the present system of education. It is worth commending that your school has indulged in such activities,” he said.
