Mangaluru, Mar 25: Minister for petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday March 25 attacked the Congress and called upon the BJP party workers to reach out to the voters to ensure that the party comes to power in the upcoming Assembly elections.
He was addressing the Mangaluru BJP North representatives' meet at Kavoor here.
"Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in the year 2014 due to the blessings of the people. Since then, he has introduced several schemes such as Swacch Bharath Abhiyan, Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan, Krishi Sinchayee and many more which have reached the people.
"Meanwhile in Karnataka, the corrupt Congress government has been ruling for the past four years, and in the last four years, several Hindu activists have been murdered and law and order has utterly failed. The Congress government has been looting the people of the most educated and knowledgeable state and dividing the society. It is time to strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi and pull up the right strategy to win the forthcoming elections," he said.
"We should reach out to every household and work at the booth level. Within two months, BJP will come back to power in Karnataka and wipe out the Congress from the state. Yeddyurappa will become the next chief minister of the state," he said.
Former minister Krishna J Paalemar, MLC Ganesh Karnik, Capt Brijesh Chowta and others were present.
